What can I expect as a student when I come to Woodstock Road Baptist Church?
Our desire at Woody Road is to integrate students fully into the life of the church rather than treat them as a separate group. As a church, we are a mixed group of different ages and backgrounds and we want students to be right at the heart of that. Students often get very involved with serving in the church and are encouraged to join homegroups where we encourage each other and learn together. Many students have really appreciated the chance to get to know Christians in Oxford outside the student bubble.
Twice a term, however, on a Thursday evening, we will meet as students to eat, study the Bible, discuss and pray together. These informal student nights will run from 7-9.30pm. This term we will be looking at the question: What is God really like? As we explore the richness of what the Bible says about God’s character, expect to find fuel for your prayers, and for your daily lives.
