What We Are About

There is one true God.
He is the Creator of the universe.
Though the human race has spoiled God’s world and hasn’t lived for him, God still loves us.

He loved us enough to send his only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world.
Jesus came to die instead of us, for our sins, so God can accept all who ask him for forgiveness.
He makes us members of God’s family, both now and for ever.

We at Woodstock Road Baptist Church are part of that family.
Though of different ages and nationalities, our desire is to worship God together.
We speak to him in prayer and in song.
Our worship also means listening to him speaking to us through his Word, the Bible.

We want to share with you this message of Jesus which, by the power of God’s Holy Spirit, is changing our lives.
