Joining Instructions

Depending upon how you connect, you might see a different joining experience. If on a desktop computer or mobile phone/tablet, see the instructions below. If you cannot connect due to the age of your device, please try and join the service in the overflow room on YouTube.

Mobile Phone or Tablet Instructions

You will need to install the Microsoft Teams app from your app store before you can see the live event. You will be prompted to do this when you click the joining link or you can go to https://teams.microsoft.com beforehand.

Once you have Teams installed – you can join the live event from this link. If you are using an iPad then we recommend opening the Teams app first, not signing in if you don’t have an account, and then coming back to this page in Safari and clicking the join link a second time. This will ask you to “Join as a guest” where you can enter your name and join the live event.

If your phone or mobile device is too old to connect securely, or your internet too slow then you can listen to the event after it has finished on the church YouTube channel.

Microsoft Windows Computer Instructions

Click to join the live event in your web browser and follow the below instructions:

  1. You might see the following message appear asking “Open Microsoft Teams?”. If you have this software already installed, then click ‘Open Microsoft Teams’ or ‘Yes’. If you don’t have Microsoft Teams installed or don’t know – click cancel.

  2. Click “Watch on the web instead”. The live event starts at 10:30am, but we will have a picture on the screen from approximately 10:20am.
  3. If asked to sign in, choose the option to ‘Join Anonymously’:
  4. From about five minutes before we start, you should hear a piano playing – if not, check your volume is turned up
